Just 20 minutes from the hotel, come and discover the Château de Versailles and, throughout the summer, its Grandes Eaux.
Listed as a World Heritage Site for 30 years, the Château de Versailles is one of the finest examples of 17th-century French art. The former hunting lodge of Louis XIII was transformed and enlarged by his son Louis XIV, who moved his court and government there in 1682. Until the French Revolution, the kings of France succeeded one another, each in turn embellishing the Château.
The Château now has 2,300 rooms, spread over 63,154 m2.
Come and discover or rediscover the Château during the summer by enjoying the unique Grandes Eaux Nocturnes show taking place only on Saturday evenings until 16 September 2017.
«It was a garden before it was a château, a festival before it was a garden, a night before it was a thousand suns. If you want to understand Versailles, you must first walk in its gardens.»
Every year, the Grandes Eaux Musicales, the Jardins Musicaux and the Grandes Eaux Nocturnes at the Château de Versailles bring these exceptional gardens and fountains, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to life to the rhythm of Lully's music. There are 15 groves in the heart of the formal gardens created by Le Nôtre, 55 fountains and pools and hundreds of statues for you to discover or rediscover with your family or friends!
Don't wait any longer, get your diaries ready for the most magical evening and stay at our hotel, the Best Western Plus Paris Saclay.
